LA scene natives The Hundreds and XLarge have come together to release a pack consisting of a collaboration with G-Shock, New-Era, and a set of t-shirts. The DW-6900 will feature yellow accents and will be branded with both a The Hundreds and XLarge logos on the strap, a TH/XL watermark shown by the backlight function, and the same inscribed on the back of the watch. The New Era 59FIFTY will incorporate both XLarge and The Hundreds into one logo; and the signature JAGS pattern on the side and back panels. The T-shirts will use the classic cartoon inspired designs of The Hundreds which will be sold in grayscale at The Hundreds stores while the full-color version will be only available at XLarge shops. This pack will be released on June 5th at both The Hundreds LA/SF, and at XLarge LA locations.
For those sick of New Eras and snapbacks, Supreme offers a refreshing summer inspired Sports Cap. These Hawaiian floral print caps come in two colors and have subtle Supreme NYC branding on the front of the cap. Expect to find these in Supreme stores now as they have already popped up on Japanese reseller site stay246. Earlier previews have also shown a cut&sew Supreme Pineapple shirt which would perfect match for the summer theme of these caps.
Japanese label WTAPS just came out with a few new releases for 2008 S/S Collection named “Extreme Prejudice.” The release includes 3 new tees and a black fedora. The tees all feature simple, effective designs that uses the WTAPS logo and the phrase “Extreme Prejudice” on the shirts. The fedora is also minimal with the number 23 and the shape of a bow tie sewn around it. Available now at Cliffedge.
Aside from being all around good people, San Francisco’s HomeRoom has made their mark in the industry via a great cut & sew program. Taiwanese boutique Brainchild is the latest brand to join forces with Hong Kong brand Subcrew on Subcrew’s regionally popular trucker cap. The Subcrew trucker cap has been a huge hit among the South East Asian population on the backs of Subcrew founder and actor Sam Lee’s success. The Brainchild x Subcrew cap features trademark Subcrew font mashed up with Brainchild’s pixelated logo.

Hat purveyors Hall of Fame has teamed up with retro sports brand Mitchell & Ness on an upcoming three pack of hats inspired by Los Angeles’ professional sports teams. The likes of the (Los Angeles) Raiders, Lakers and Kings all feature different materials such as satin, suede and thermal. Available exclusively at Hall of Fame this weekend.
Hat makers Estate LA have developed a new heritage collection of caps for true fitted fans. The Heritage Collection explores the classic wool American baseball cap, through a combination of simple aesthetics and premium materials. The first piece in the line is a project with bicycle label Freeman Transport and features a relaxed crown, authentic American made broad cloth wool, satin tape and a chambray lining. All of Freeman’s logos were created by their good friend and established designer Benny Gold. Available this summer at select Estate LA dealers.

Well traveled photographer Craig Weatherby’s involvement with Seattle based Manik skateboards was revealed in an extensive collection of photo print tees and decks last season. Continuing on this theme, the two have paired up on a simple New Era cap. The outside visuals are minimalistic, however the silk lining features extensive photos of some of Weatherby’s photography.
