Japanese hip-hop group Nitro Microphone Underground hooked up with Nike and Stussy to release a Special Force Tour shirt. The front of the shirt features a picture of the group while the list of members is seen on the back. With Google translate letting me down, I think that somewhere in there it says that the front print is not visible depending on which angle you view the shirt. No word on availability but it may be a friends and family release.

Last season saw the collaborative efforts of Futura and Maharishi come to fruition in the Futura Heavy Industries Collection. Moving on, together Futura’s efforts with heavyweight Stussy will produce a new co-branded collection of products including apparel and accessories. Look for these to land at select accounts in the coming weeks.

According to DNR, the streetwear label that been around since the beginning will be opening several new stores in North America coming this year. Stussy has just recently opened their new Hawaii stores in Honolulu and will be opening stores in Washington DC, Las Vegas and Toronto. The Washington DC store will be a partnership with Commonwealth owner, Omar Quiambao. The Las Vegas store will be part owned by no other than Eddie Cruz, one of the founders of Undefeated. Every year companies will launch products based of the current Chinese lunar year. 2007 which was the year of the pig has just past us and 2008 is the year of the rat so for this occasion, Stussy has taken the rat as an inspiration and created a “Rat Patrol” collection. The Rat Patrol collection will include t-shirts, long sleeve tees and a coach jacket. All items in this series will come in either black or white. They are now available at Stussy Japan.
The full compliment of Stussy x Levi’s pieces are now available in store at select Stussy stores. The collection includes raw and washed denim, a denim jacket and a t-shirt. Look for the co-branded collection to hit Stussy’s online stores in the next few days.
Stussy has gotten into the Holiday festivities with the recent release of this Christmas design. The Stussy skull can be seen wearing a Santa-esque hat with matching red/white font to boot. Available in both short and long-sleeve versions now at Stussy Direct.
In their annual collaboration, Stussy, UNDFTD and realmad HECTIC have teamed up on the heels of their three-pack of New Balance MT580s to create their 3 The Hard Way t-shirt. The shirt will be available this Saturday, December 15th at all UNDFTD JP stores in two different colors.
To commemorate the premiere of fixed gear documentary MASH SF back in October, a special t-shirt was issued. The Stussy t-shirt features the likes of bike crew The Wolfpack Hustle and bike makers Orange20. Available now through Stussy Direct.
In a sea of collaborative efforts from different brands, Stussy has consistently churned out some solid efforts. Keeping in essence the concept of collaboration their co-branded products often source out brands at the top of their class to realize their visions. Among their latest products is the Monty Duffle coat produced by the world’s leading duffle coat makers, Gloverall. Since 1951, Gloverall has perfected their trade ensuring quality and precision go into each coat. Three different colors were created, grey, khaki and black. Available at Japanese Stussy Chapters starting December 7th.

Stussy has collaborated with Japanese fine glasses maker, Kotake Chyoubei (小竹長兵衛) for a pair of “Woody” glasses. The frame is hand made by the master Kotake Chyoubei. The glasses comes in three colors and retails for ¥29,400. Available at Zozo.
The latest creation from the grand opening of Stussy Honolulu is a special collaborative t-shirt with high end Japanese brand Nexus VII. Two different colorways (black and white) of the t-shirt were released exclusively at Stussy HI. But luckily a few pieces can also be attained through Stussy Direct.
