Stussy’s creative director Paul Mittleman has previewed their first drop for the collection titled “Our Gangs”. With five tees marking the first collection, look for more on the horizon from the “Our Gangs” series of apparel. No word yet on a release date.
In the latest issue of the Neighborhood Magazine, Neighborhood MAG. 5, new products from the Stussy x Neighborhood “Boneyards” collaboration was revealed including sneakers done with the major footwear brand, Nike. Two “Boneyards” models will be released including a Nike Blazer and a Nike Terminator. The Nike Blazer will be released in three colorways including black/black, black/blue and black/white and will retail for 15,750 Yen. The Terminator on the other hand will cost 12,600 Yen and will come in the colors black/blue, black/white and black/red. No word on the released date but do stayed tuned for more info. Stussy has launched their brand new website to showcase their higher end line, Stussy Deluxe. On the website, you’ll find the latest pieces from the more sophiscated line. Right now, you will be able to see the current pieces from Stussy Deluxe’s Spring 2008 Collection. You can also purchase the items as it will link you to their online store, Stussy Direct.

The Stussy x Neighborhood “Boneyards” Collection was first announced on the blog of Stussy’s creative director, Paul Mittleman. Then a preview of the project was featured in the latest Stussy Spring/Summer 2008 catalog. Just yesterday, Neighborhood MAG 5. was released and in it we get a first glimpse of the upcoming “Boneyards” collection. Unfortunately, other than the clothing pieces seen on these catalog scans, not much info was revealed. For now, check out the catalog scans after the jump.

The Tokyo chapter of the world famous sneaker boutique, Undefeated, celebrates its first year anniversary this year. For this occasion, they will be releasing an limited edition UNDFTD x Stussy t-shirt which will be available starting April 5th at Undefeated Japan stores.
Stussy Deluxe is Stussy’s take on high end streetwear which is catered for street heads that have grown up both age wise and style wise. Designer for Stussy Deluxe, Nick Bower, takes the classic street silhouettes such as military uniforms and sportswear and integrates that with premium materials, embroidery and cutting. We have previously seen some pieces from Stussy Deluxe’s Spring 2008 collection but coming Friday, Stussy Deluxe will be launching its very own website where the whole Spring ‘08 collection can be seen. Washington D.C. will be celebrating the grand opening of the latest Stussy Chapter this Thursday, April 3rd, with Biz Markie on the set. In addition, the DC Tribe will be releasing an exclusive tee to mark the occasion. Available in black or white, the tees feature Stussy’s stock logo outfitted with the DC flags double bars, and three stars, as well as a large hit on the back with the Raekwon line, “Connect. Politic. Ditto.”
Canadian artist Andrew Pommier brings his iconic caricature style to a series of t-shirts created in collaboration with Stussy’s Artist Series. The designs teeter between a line of reality and fantasy as he depicts interesting subject matter relating to the Canadian wilderness. With the popularity of Stussy, only 100 shirts of each design are available to go around.

With our look at the Futura x Stussy “Destiny” collection yesterday, we saw the strong influences of prints created exclusively for the Destiny collection by Futura. The latest use of the Destiny Jungle Camo can be seen on the Pillica sandal from Tatami. Available this weekend, March 29th with a suggested price tag of ¥23,940 JPY (approximately $239 USD).

2008 was a huge year for Stussy as they opened several new Stussy Flagship stores in North America. The new stores which have already opened include Stussy Honolulu, Stussy Las Vegas and Stussy Toronto. The latest and perhaps last Stussy store that’s opening this year is the Stussy Washington DC Flagship store. Partnering up with Omar Quiambao who also owns Commonwealth, this new Flagship store will have its opening party on April 3rd with Biz Markie as the special guest DJ.
