The inaugural Eastpak Raf Simons bag team up pushed the boundaries of conventional backpack stylings as over 50 styles with diverse price points were featured. While some bags emanating from the creative thoughts of Belgian designer Raf Simons bordered on the edge of conventionality, the follow-up series from Eastpak Raf Simons features what appears to be more traditional bags over 18 styles. Raf Simons '08 S/S "Material World" Collection by Eastpak

Last year, it was announced that popular fashion designer Raf Simons had created a partnership with bag makers Eastpak on a series of modern and creatively unconventional backpacks. To compliment the designs, the backpacks also include several technical features. A portion of the “Material World” collection has landed at oki-ni. The four different styles carry a price tag not for the faint of heart ranging from £179 to £319 (approximately $348 USD to $621 USD).
