The inaugural Eastpak Raf Simons bag team up pushed the boundaries of conventional backpack stylings as over 50 styles with diverse price points were featured. While some bags emanating from the creative thoughts of Belgian designer Raf Simons bordered on the edge of conventionality, the follow-up series from Eastpak Raf Simons features what appears to be more traditional bags over 18 styles. Price points range from €80 – €100 EUR (approximately $124 USD – $155 USD).

Belgium designer, Raf Simons, highly praised for his combination of youthful classic menswear and street-wear inspired items showcases his latest sneakers from the Raf by Raf Simons line. Keeping the colors very simple along with minimal sleek design these make a very versatile sneaker for any occasion. Featured on the tongue and heel is the embossed RAF logo. Contemporary designer Raf Simons along with many of his high fashion counterparts including Lanvin and Ato Matsumoto have released various true high tops in their expensive sneaker releases. Last year, it was announced that popular fashion designer Raf Simons had created a partnership with bag makers Eastpak on a series of modern and creatively unconventional backpacks. To compliment the designs, the backpacks also include several technical features. A portion of the “Material World” collection has landed at oki-ni. The four different styles carry a price tag not for the faint of heart ranging from £179 to £319 (approximately $348 USD to $621 USD).
Set to release later this month as part of a wealth of items belonging to the 2008 Spring/Summer collection are these Raf Simons high tops. The navy upper is a less flashy version of last season’s Astronaut predecessor but still includes details such as patent uppers and large oversizes tongues. Influential men’s contemporary fashion designer Raf Simons has teamed up with backpack makers Eastpak to create a series of bags as part of Raf Simons’ 2008 Spring/Summer "Material World" Collection. Originally plying their trade as a bag maker to the military, Eastpak branched out to the consumer in 1976 and now has become a household name in the bag market. This latest collaboration includes a variety of contemporary designs which embodies Raf Simons’ design aesthetic.
