G1950, the design label from Japan, has released some new items from their Fall 2007 Collection which includes a collaboration with Porter on a Textile Wallet. The wallet uses a material that is often seen on furniture pieces. The combination of this fabric on the wallet makes a nice combination. The other item released is the Original Check Slippers which feature a plaid pattern. These lifestyle items are perfect for everyday use. Available now at Figure.
A new collection of Stussy branded Porter bags and wallets will be available soon as part of the Vehicle Collection. The collection incorporates many different Porter styles such as messenger bags, back packs and tote bags. Within each style are multiple sizes and colors to accommodate different uses and needs. Three brands which include atmos, New Balcen and Porter have gotten together to create a triple collaboration project dubbed the Buffalo Check collection. This collection consist of two New Balance M574 which has an upper consisting of wool and a Buffalo Check pattern. There are two colorways for the shoes (black and brown) and both will retail at 13,440 Yen. Also included in this collection is a Porter Drum bag and a Porter Day bag both which utilizes the Buffalo Check pattern as well. The Drum bag will retail at 16,590 Yen while the Day bag retails at 22,050 Yen. Porter’s newest releases as part of the most recent drop include collaboration pieces alongside some of their standard fare. These collaborations include their ongoing collaborations with Beams on the Maryse Sac and a wallet with fashion label Wacko Maria. Their in-house releases include the Dyke Ruck which features a waxed canvas and leather construction and the Heat Tote/Shoulder Bag. The Heat series is made with industrial grade nylon with a bonus Maglite keychain.
Japanese brand GB Skins recently teamed up with Porter to offer their own twist to a series of pouches and accessories. Each piece incorporates sheepskin into the body. The pouches are also branded with the GB Skins British Pound logo. Three different styles are available including a hanging iPod holder. Available now at nano･universe.
Porter teamed up with a series of popular artists to design 5 exclusive limited edition tote bags. The artists include Japanese artist Madsaki, international design collective Surface to Air, graphic designer and art director Sophie Toporkoff and pixel designer Ten_Do_Ten. These bags are currently available exclusively at select D-mop locations and affiliate J-01 stores. Prices vary from $1490 – $1790 HKD (approximately $191-$230 USD).

Japanese accessories brand Porter formed a relationship with Sony Japan to create the PSP Pictogram Series. The goal of this partnership was to increase awareness with PS (Playstation) products. Among the latest releases as part of this collaboration is a GAS x Porter case and a Beams x Porter 30th Anniversary case. The GAS case incorporates the familiar “△〇×□” button designs of the PS series as the basis to their design while Beams chose to use shiny and durable patent leather for the design of its case.
The OriginalFake brand currated by KAWS has recently collaborated with Gallery 1950 (G1950) on a Porter messenger bag. The bag features a Chomper pattern original designed by KAWS on the outside of the flap while the inside of the flap has the logos of OriginalFake, Gallery 1950 and KAWS’ version of Pipo Kun. The bag is current available now at OriginalFake dealers for a price of ￥29,400 JPY (approximately $256USD). Available now at Helden.
Stüssy and Porter have updated their summer Vehicle Collection with some new releases. The original Vehicle Collection was highlighted by shiny patent materials. These latest releases have turned the corner and offered wallets in more understated matte nylon. Two wallet styles are available in yellow, black and navy. These wallets also include special branding rather then the customary Porter tag.

In commemoration of Neighborhood’s creation of a web prescence, the Japanese brand is set to release an online exclusive bag. Using the Original Tote Bag from Porter as the basis of their design, neighborhood.jp is printed across the side of the bag. Available through the NBHD web store on Monday, October 22nd.
