Last week, Niketown released these Doernbecher Dunk Lows as a charity related drop for Charity OHSU – Children’s Hospital Foundation. The sneakers feature laser engraving of hand drawn designs within the textured leather of the shoes. The kicks were designed by Lance Dillon, a 17 yr. old LaPine High School senior, who came to Doernbecher with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Only 1050 pairs of the kicks were made. Bless those who purchased these kicks for a good cause. It’s what the holidays are all about.

Here are some images of some new Nike Lava Domes. I’ve always been a fan of the Lava Domes because of its boot-like features trapped in a low-cut shoes body. The new releases come in these two colorways of red/black/green/yellow and grey/orange. They’re a great option for casual kicks when you’re not in the mood for sneakers or boots.

The Muji Award International Design Competition was recently held and the winner is Yoh Komiyama of Japan. The winner designed a “cast of skin.” It’s an outlet plug designed to do three things; 1. To Save Energy 2. To prevent dust or waste from penetrating an outlet, and 3. To maintain a connection between an outlet plug and an outlet. It was a simple design concept, but it was both innovative and environmentally friendly. Congrats to Yoh Komiyama.

Returning for another release are these Nike Okwahn shoes. Thanks to Size? the new release of these ACG performance kicks come in new vibrant colors of orange, green, purple which accent it’s main grey color. It’s something a little different for ACG fans, but I’m sure it’ll still hold up to its true All Conditions Gear name – allowing for true support and traction for almost any kind of weather.
