Honeyee has updated part 2 of Edison Chen’s (CLOT) interview. In the interview, they talked about the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death” , the lastest Levi’s x CLOT Unionrail 501 jeans and the “CLOT Gone To Mars” Party which was Juice/CLOT’s 2nd anniversary party. According to Edison, the jeans pay homage to the Chinese people who bulit the railways in the past. Jeans are like a must have fashion nowadays but not a lot of people know why people wear jeans in the past. In addition, he used satin on the jeans because satin was originally from Asia. In this feature, there are also some pictures of the Juice/CLOT 2nd anniversary party where you people like HF, Kazuki Kuraishi and Just Blaze attended. Watch out for Edison Chen’s first Hollywood movie, The Grudge 2, in theatre October.

The New Era Flagship store recently opened up in New York City. Freshness was there to have a look at the caps that they offer. Here is one of the caps that were available. This hat is a mix of the East and the West with Chinese embroidery on the front and camouflage pattern on the back. Personally, I’m not feeling it but it’s something different from what you see everyday.

After reading Rob Hepplers blog on HYPEBEAST it occured to me that Johnny Cupcakes and his flavorful designed tees hadn’t graced the front of HYPEBEAST. Well, here comes Johnny and his Cupcakes. His grand opening for his second retail space is officially this Saturday (May 26), but his online merchandise has been up for a while and is selling like hot cakes. His designs have even been the subject of a bit of controversy with a “stolen” design being sold as another brand. Finally, Johnny is here and his cupcakes are here to stay. Check out his online store which is constantly being updated and replenished so don’t get all worked up if the shirt you want is out because more will surely come.
