New Balance collaborated with the Japanese brand EL.Brown. It is inspired by the street hip hop group ‘Black Mic’, and features a patent, nubuck, and a leather combination with gold stitching. Unfortunately, it is a Japanese exclusive sneaker and has sold out already on pre-order.

Last summer, Nike came out with a Barcode Dunk which was much talked about on the message boards. Now, Nike is producing the ‘Barcode’ Air Force 1 which will be limited to 4000 pairs. Each pair will be individually numbered and will come with the a special shoe bag (pictured on the right). They will be released in March exclusively in the French retailer Courir.

NORT Berlin just updated their online store with a few pairs of sneakers from the Vans Spring 2006 collection. Available now are the Vans SK8 Hi in a black colorway, the Slip On LX featuring perforated leather and the SK8 Hi LX in Moccasin style.

You may have heard that A Bathing Ape’s new Busy Work Shop will be opening in Hong Kong on April 1st, 2006. Thanks to High Snobiety, we can now have a look at the current state of renovations at BWS. From the construction site, it looks like the store will be relatively big compared to the recently opened Busy Work Shop in Taiwan.
