So what happens when you get a drummer from a heavy metal band to design a toy? Well the answer is you get the character you see on above you, Madstar. Designed by Antharax’s drummer Charile Benante and created by Madtoyz this 8 inch figure is bound to have heads turning. Best part about this is that there is also a t-shirt available which you can either purchase separately or as a set, so weather you’re a heavy metal fan or not, this 8”figure will still go perfectly with any vinyl toy collector’s collection.

Here is a look at an un-released sample cap from Huf X Foober that we found over on Keiths honeyee blog. As you can see from above the cap features a forest camo colorway along with an embroidered letter H on the front of the cap while there is also the famous Foober signature placed randomly in different spots on the cap as well.

Garry is the owner of Livestock the very famous sneaker shop and now Illustrated Example (I.E.), Vancouver’s latest edition to the streetwear fashion scene. We were lucky enough to get a first hand tour of the shop and all the amazing products and elements of design contained within. For those who have been to Livestock do not expect I.E. to be similar, it is the complete opposite. The shops walls are a beautiful white linen, the displays and clothing racks are made of elegant solid wood, and the clothing is amazing. I.E. carries premium brands such as PRPS, Corpus, One True Saxon, Y3, Nooka, Stussy, and Uppercut. When and if in the Vancouver area I.E. is a must see. Its high quality minimalist aesthetic and excellent brand selection make it a great addition to the ever changing Gastown area.
