Having an undeniable mark on China and South East Asia’s streetwear landscape, Hong Kong brand Subcrew has moved their latest retail venture to an unlikely location in Guangzhou, China. Not typically known for its diverse cultural exploits, the opening of Unity (the name of Subcrew flagship stores) in Guangzhou will nevertheless help develop and grow the local scene. Here’s a look at some of the sights from the grand opening.

One of Chicago’s premier stores Saint Alfred has launched their 2008 spring/summer collection. The collection is highlighted by mostly logo based designs which reference the stores noble-inspired name. Available now at Saint Alfreds as well sister stores including KICKS/HI.
Established artists Will Sweeney, Alexis Ross, Estevan Oriol and Peter Bagge are the four contributing artists to Stussy’s Customade Our Gangs #3 series of t-shirts. The diverse nature of this cast produces some interesting designs from the inherent realness of Estevan Oriol’s photo print to the fun designs of Peter Bagge. Look for Stussy’s Customade Our Gangs #3 to hit select retailers in the next few weeks.

What better way to pay tribute to one of the greatest running backs of our generation who just happens to love Nike Air Force 1s? The ultra exclusive Innovative Kitchen in Beaverton put together an Air Force 1 like no other for Chargers’ all-star running back Ladainian “LT” Tomlinson. Going the distance, the AF1 designed by JB of the Innovative Kitchen is packaged with a crazy sliding box with many intricate details seen on the metallic upper. Extensive lasering can be seen throughout. With anything of this nature, don’t expect to ever see more then the sole pair made for LT.

Japanese mens label SiFury has launched a small capsule of products for their 2008 summer collection. The mature and refined themes are embodied in pieces such polos, embroidered denim and khakis, hats and gingham shirts. Available now through SiFury.
Well traveled photographer Craig Weatherby’s involvement with Seattle based Manik skateboards was revealed in an extensive collection of photo print tees and decks last season. Continuing on this theme, the two have paired up on a simple New Era cap. The outside visuals are minimalistic, however the silk lining features extensive photos of some of Weatherby’s photography. A color made synonymous with the Air Jordan VI, Carmine finds itself at the center of a recent pack of retro runners from Nike.
