Considered one of the flagship model of Reebok’s lifestyle line and one-time signature of rompin’ stompin’ Michael Chang, the Court Victory is seen here in a new upcoming colorway. The warm palette of colors includes yellow, red and orange and is allegedly part of a “Training Day” pack. Potentially the work of New York based retailer Training Camp? Stay tuned for more details.

For the launch of the Sneaker Freaker x Puma Blaze of Glory, Puma will be hosting a party at the German sneaker boutique Solebox on April 25th. First came the Dub Zero. Second, the Spiz’ike. A third time is no surprise from Jordan Brand. The latest hybrid from the Jordan camp is the 6 Rings model. This shoe is a clash of every sneaker His Airness wore while stacking up those Championship rings in the 90’s for the Chicago Bulls, not to mention some of Designer Tinker Hatfield’s best work. We can clearly see a mixture of the Jordan VI, VII, VIII and XI, XII, XIII. The first color way to release will be a Concord AJXI inspired masterpiece with another Black/Red (pictured) version in full production form set to release after. Expect these to hit Jordan Accounts starting November.

As if all the recent previews of anticipated SB’s for this summer was not enough, a picture has surfaced showing what looks like to be a Dunk SB Low Gore-Tex. It is definitely not Nike’s first time using this distinct material in their sneakers. Very reminiscent of the Medicom 3 SBs, look out for these in the near future. There is no set release date.

Here’s a look at APRIL77 2008 spring/summer collection for men. A favorite of Japanese fashion magazine HUGE (which hipsters devour these days), we see a classic street style referencing an era likened to that of your parents. It’s true, history does repeat itself, wingtips, Ray Ban frames, vests, biker jackets, and ankles exposed all make a strong combo from the French brand April 77.
Rei Kawakubo, founder and head designer of Japanese label, Comme des Garcons, will be the guest designer for H&M’s 2008 autumn collection. The collection will include everything from men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing to accessories and even an exclusive unisex fragrance. The collection is set to launch in early November at the opening of H&M’s second store in Tokyo, Japan, and it will hit other H&M stores a few days later.
Ever since Comme des Garcons’ debut in 1981, Rei Kawakubo has been known for challenging the norms with her use of distressed fabrics, unfinished edges, asymmetrical cuts, and monochromatic tones. The collaboration will let H&M break into the Japanese/Harajuku market and compete with the dominating Uniqlo, both known for fashionable yet affordable clothing.
This collaboration will definitely be worth waiting for since it will be Comme des Garcon design at H&M prices.
