With the success of the Moutain Dew Green Label engaging various artists in a series of designer cans, Artco and Mountain Dew’s parent company Pepsi did a similar artist project. Instead of introducing a new can similar to the Green Label project, the Artco Pepsi series featured work on conventional cans. The list of artists range from around the world spanning the Americas, Asia and Europe.

The King of Spring Skateboard Showdown is set to take place this April 20th. 3 Gs worth of prize money is on hand for Best Trick. The event hosted by Billy Rohan and Lurker Lou will also feature music by Razor Tail. JB Classics and Ride Snowboards unveiled their a special partnership earlier this year culminating in a fresh pack of snowboard hardware and apparel. To help promote the pack, a short 30 second spot was created with artistic direction fully representing the theme of the collaboration. Official’s latest theme references the Neu Royal Regiment of Artillery, commonly known as the Neu Gunners. It’s Official’s own take on creating classic fabric flips on a contemporary level as they spread the word about Official. Two colors include the one seen here and a pink version and will only be available at Official’s most prized retailers.
Artist and designer Don Pendleton has been an innovative mainstay designing graphics for some of the biggest skate companies including Alien Workshop and Element. He’s presented as the first artist in the Little Giants documentary created by Mumble Magazine as it sets forth in highlighting artists who have had a strong impact on skateboarding, contemporary art and street culture. Don’s recent endeavors include the creation of his own apparel company Darkroom. The Little Giants series will include two 30 minute releases per year, priced at $19.95 CND and retail at select skateshops and the iTune’s Store.
