HVW8 or Heavyweight Production House is a creative design firm based out of Canada. Headed by Tyler Gibney, the design house draws influences from rare groove album covers, Japanese hyper-pop styles, dub soundscapes, graffiti burns, skate graphics and turntable culture. They have recently teamed up with streetwear label XLarge to produce a limitedd edition t-shirt. The tee will cost 5,250 Yen and will be available at Calif.

Avant Garde designer Jeremy Scott was an integral part of Las Vegas brand and boutique FRUITION’s 2nd Anniversary in the Summer of 2007 with the release of a collection of items exclusive to a very small select number of retailers. The two have joined forces once again to create a fully encompassing collaboration which combines different elements to create a true high fashion meets street perspective. Look for more projects in the future to spring up from the people at FRUITION.
Nike Hong Kong recently launched its own Nike Dunk 2008 campaign with its Be True exhibition at Exit by Double Park. Much like previous instillations such as Bring that Beat Back by UNDFTD Radio, the Be True event featured Japanese artwork and the latest releases of Dunks. In addition a collection of some of the most memorable Dunk releases within the last few years were also on display. The event will run for three weeks at Exit by Double Park.
