The latest collection from the Beams/Porter B Yoshida team up has yielded two shoulder bags. The Calm Shoulder Bag features a chemically treated finish over high quality leather materials to offer all-weather protection. The Heat Shoulder Bag incorporates a flame retardant and abrasion resistant material. A special feature also includes a pull-tab which doubles as a Mag-Lite. Available through B Yoshida.
San Francisco’s premier denim store Self Edge have had a steady track record of churning out collaborations with various Japanese denim brands. With previous collaborations with Sugarcane and Iron Heart, Flat Head is the latest to step up to the plate. Few details to report other then 16 oz orange selvedge and steel wired pocket caps. New York City based label Reason have just dropped a preview of a few pieces from their upcoming 2008 Spring collection. Their latest products include a crewneck sweatshirt, a zip-up hoodie, and a pair of boardshorts all employing a distinctive geometric pattern overlaid atop dark shades of gray. The Reason Clothing 2008 Spring Collection will be released on February 15th.
The trademark Palmboy mascot is at the centerpiece of this latest hoodie from Japanese rock inspired brand Devilock. The colorful all-over print of the mascot can be seen printed on the pockets as well as the hood. Choices include black and heather gray. Available now at eproze.
For the fitted cap, the last few months saw an increase in the number of Elmer Fudd-like flap caps for the colder winter months. New York based sneaker store Michael K. took inspirations from some classic comic book characters in this latest pack of themed Reebok Insta Pump Furys. Stepping away from the all too familiar mainstay comic book superheroes, Michael K. looked towards Green Goblin (Spiderman), Sinestro (Green Goblin), Harley Quinn (Batman) and Galactus (Fantastic Four). 60 pairs of each colorway are available at Michael K. and Active Warehouse.
