For the Christmas season, CLOT sent out a series of special friends & family t-shirts. Two colorways were created, black with red highlights and white with green highlights. Branding comes from a small chest logo. Unfortunately all the CLOT fan boys might be left in the dark with this friends & family.

Taking a page from the dictionary, the word commune refers to a small group of people working as a collective sharing possessions, work and following an unconventional lifestyle. To (COMMUNE), the word’s definition follows closely to the values upheld by (COMMUNE). The use of parenthesis’ illustrates (COMMUNE)’s belief that they are within their own bubble of what they feel is correct by closing themselves off from the the others and the typical representation of apparel. For the upcoming release of the two pack of Irak x adidas RMX Equipments, Irak has linked up with A.R.C. to produce a special t-shirt to go alongside the release of the sneakers. Two colorways are available featuring the imagery of the Roadrunner. Another Irak collaboration features a crewneck with Alife. Photographer Michael Franzini’s 30,000 mile trek across America documented what’s it like for your average teenager in this hyper-connected and media driven society. In his book 100 Young Americans, one hundred teenagers were pulled from each state to offer their personal accounts from a plethora of social situations and locations.
The generation examined is one that is bombarded with media information everyday (see here) with their private lives in the public realm more then ever. However, regardless of their backgrounds and upbringings, each share one common similarity in not always able to find their identity and independence.
