Photographer Michael Franzini’s 30,000 mile trek across America documented what’s it like for your average teenager in this hyper-connected and media driven society. In his book 100 Young Americans, one hundred teenagers were pulled from each state to offer their personal accounts from a plethora of social situations and locations. The generation examined is one that is bombarded with media information everyday (see here) with their private lives in the public realm more then ever. However, regardless of their backgrounds and upbringings, each share one common similarity in not always able to find their identity and independence.
