The colorway on these New Balance M574 is fabulous. But the bad news is that they are only limited to 300 pairs and are going to be Japan exclusive. You are lucky if you happen to be in Japan. They are releasing on September 10th at Mita Sneakers, Atmos, and some other stores. Info from AS.

This is all about the love. Elephont has really put an effort to help and ask others to help. Send some love to who need it.
“Here’s the plan: All you have to do is donate something online. Any amount…whatever you can. Forward me the receipt from the Red Cross and I’ll send you some artwork. It might be a sketch, some brush painting or even a small painting…depending on your contribution. I don’t care if it’s $1 or $100. Picture yourself without anyplace to go or anything to eat and then do what you can. This will go on until Sept. 14. At that time, I’ll match all contribution receipts sent in up to $1,000 and donate that to the Red Cross. You’ll get some artwork in the following weeks and we’ll all be helping out in a dire situation.”

With the support of the Terry Fox Foundation, Adidas is re-releasing the classic Orion shoe that Terry Fox ran with in 1980’s Marathon of Hope.
Limited to 6500 pairs, the blue/white Adidas Orions features a map of Terry Fox’s route imprinted on the insole. Only available at Sport Chek stores in Canada, 100% of the proceeds will go to cancer research.
“In a sense, the shoe has come to represent the dedication, determination and dream of all those who wanted, in the words of my brother, the hurting to stop.” -Darrell Fox, Terry’s brother.
My local newspaper featured Ian Fieggen’s shoelace site this morning.. it’s pretty interesting.. on an average shoe with six pairs of eyelets, there are 1,961,990,553,600 ways to feed a shoelace! Damn! If you want your Jordans to look like these.. Ian’s got you covered. But yeah… I’ll stick to the ‘Criss Cross’.
With the summer coming to an end, it’s time to think about how you’re going to keep warm/dry in the colder months… here’s a suggestion: Limited Edition Addict Jackets featuring a camo pattern designed by She One! IQMND has a great new feature on one of my favorite photographers, Boogie. This guy is absolutely ridiculous. Straight grimey street photography from New York and ghettos around the world. Shocking to say the least. Not recommend for those under 18 years of age.
I’ve probably said it before, but I’ll say it again: I absolutely love The Brilliance. Seriously, it inspires me daily. Ben and Chuck, what you guys do is just incredible. Much love and respect. Get over to Lurk right away for this interview!
Even more photo’s from the Las Vegas tradeshow! This time from Frank 151 and NYC’s Retail Mafia. Via JB’s Classics Suite 2206. Ghostface Killah and strippers presented by some top-notch brands. What more can you ask for?
