Created with inspirations from vinyl, the black leather upper of the Blazer includes patent lines to signify the grooves seen on vinyl. The Blazers will release only at Sao Paulo shop, Art Walk. Last month, Stussy ran an interview with the people behind the book Mascots & Mugs. The book documents the characters and cartoons from some of graf’s most notable and important artists. A series of t-shirts with artists such as Blade, Tack, Daze and Doc were created. Available now through Stussy Direct.
In association with the latest installment of the Batman series, Dark Knight, backpack makers Eastpak teamed up with Japanese store Kinetics to produce a Batman backpack. The bag captures Batman’s well-known symbol in all-over print fashion. The bag will be available December 22nd through Chapter World.
Although claiming it’s roots in Sacramento, music store Tower Records developed a huge chain of stores in Japan which ultimately extended into a free magazine publication and a series of cafes. Design firm G1950 teamed up with Tower Records on a limited edition Porter tote bag. Two styles with different straps are available through Tower Records.
