Last year, San Francisco based, HUF SF, and Nike created the earthquake Nike Air Force 1 which was a hit among many sneakerheads. This year, they’re back at it again and thanks to Keith Hufnagel and NimNim.net, we have a preview of part two of the “Earthquake” pack. The new series will still be based off the “crack” print and will include two models, the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90. As of now, they isn’t any release information so stay tuned for more info.

Vapors Magazine issue 42 is out! In this latest issue, they have features on stores such as Diamond Supply Co., The Hundreds, and Frank’s Chop Shop. There are also features on INSA, Erik Brunetti, David Flores, Dalek, Slick and more. In addition, the cover done by David Flores is definitely a nice piece. There’s a lot of interesting articles to read so definitely check it out when you have time.

Robot Films have teamed up with adidas to create their very own EQT B-Ball models. Despite the retro styling of the EQT B-Ball, the Robot Films makeover created a futuristic looking sneaker. The metallic silver upper is made from an reflective material so whenever light hits it at the right angle, it will reflect back. The replaceable inner boot features a circuit board print. The Robot Films logo can be seen on the heel. Release date is set for late Summer/early Fall.

A new exhibit recently began at Colette titled, Joy Ride. This traveling art show is now in Paris alongside the upcoming Bicycle Film Festival which starts at the end of the month. The lists of artists include Phil Frost, Michel Gondry, Erik Foss (aka: Stuntboy), Daze, Madsaki, Steve MacDonald, Ko Masuda, Swoon, Peter Sutherland, and Cheryl Dunn among others. This exhibit curated by Brendt Barbur will conclude on September 1st.

Last year, adidas debuted their Materials of the World pack which involves the use of various marquee materials and fabrics from different countries. The collection will be back for a 2nd round with sneakers including USA – Superstar Vintage, England – Zodiak, Eskimo/Inuit – Pro Model, Spain – Midiru and England – Stan Smith. This pack will is due to drop starting October 2007.

The graphic design firm House Industries (affiliated with brand House 33) is set to unveil a special collaborative piece created with Eames Office. The limited run of 10 solid maple and walnut sculptures will be unveiled later on tonight at a special lecture held by Andy Cruz outlining what’s in store from House Industries.
The Eames House was built in 1949 by the husband wife duo of Charles and Ray as part of the Case Study Houses Project. The Case Study House project was commissioned by the Arts & Architecture Magazine (1938-1967) to bring together a collective of some of the best architects of the time to create inexpensive and livable housing spawned by the post-WWII boom. The Eames House (known also as Case Study House No. 8) was widely considered to be the best of the bunch.

The Nike Presto have always had a strong following. Whether it was the comfort or some cool colorway, there were many reasons to like the shoe. The mashup of Presto + Dunk has yielded not only comfort but some almost limitless possibilities on the design front. Because the toe box is created from the stretchy spandex-like material, a lots of different prints can be achieved which would be much more difficult with leather or nubuck. This latest pack of Dunkestos features an uppers that is a mix of different patterns. No word yet on a release date, but this Dunkesto pack will probably look even better in the flesh.

The latest news update on this colorful Nike Free-Rod we originally showcased last month reveals that their alleged release is slated for sometime later this month. No definitive date is known, however with only 2 weeks left in the month of July the wait shouldn’t be very long.
