Lev Tanju and Gareth Skewis can’t be stopped. The dynamic duo behind Palace went all around the world in both a physical and metaphorical sense during 2019, securing the cover story of HYPEBEAST Magazine: The Agency Issue, opening their first-ever China pop-up in Shanghai and shocking the worlds of both football and streetwear by collaborating with adidas and Juventus on a new third kit. Apart from seeing the great Cristiano Ronaldo in their garments during a match, Skewis and Tanju also oversaw even more collaborations ranging from trail shoes created with Salomon to more work with Reebok Classics. And — most impressively — this was all achieved while keeping Palace’s fiercely independent, always-unique brand ethos intact, and releasing three seasonal collections that were snatched up by their legions of adoring fans.
