This year has been quite busy for MADNESS, and its founder Shawn Yue. When not in the limelight as one of Hong Kong’s biggest celebrities, he is busy coming up with the next collection and collaboration for MADNESS, along with his newer venture into women’s clothing, with MADGIRL. While still building a name in international territory, MADNESS has already solidified itself in the greater China, acting as one of the bigger attractions in the ever-growing Chinese streetwear tradeshow – YO’HOOD. In keeping with Shawn Yue’s direction for working with the brands he loves, this year saw collaborations with Wtaps, Teva, Casio, UNITED ARROWS & SONS, New Balance, White Mountaineering, NATIVE SONS, N.HOOLYWOOD, Danner, and a number of releases with Converse.
