Dior’s Kim Jones is one of the seminal figures in fashion, fusing together streetwear — he’s long been a friend of Kanye West — and fashion back when it wasn’t as fashionable during the mid-2000s. Nowadays Jones has taken over the house of Dior Homme, which he has renamed to Dior. Working with an expected but unexpected list of collaborators such as KAWS and Yoon, who is on board as a jewellery designer, the collection helped Dior’s menswear desirable once more. The collection received less fanfare than Virgil Abloh’s but it was arguably better received, with most noting just how wearable Jones had brought the long maligned brand back to prominence.
