Sofia Prantera founded Aries back in 2012 alongside Palace-affiliate Fergus Purcell, and since then the London-based label has gone from strength-to-strength. The past 12 months has seen Aries collaborate with New Balance on a super-limited 990v3 release as well as work with College Shoes and launch its first ever official menswear capsule. Arguably the stand-out moment of the year for Aries was the launch of the “Planet Aries” pop-up in London. The temporary store stocked a number of exclusive and limited edition Aries pieces, as well as curated pieces from Martine Rose, Thames and Vans.
