^^^ Yeah, people have been saying on niketalk and whereever that the Evisu daicocks or whatevers have been played out for quite some time. Like years.
you know, for 95% of the things i purchase i follow that "buy what i like" motto...
but for something as pronounced as that painted on "gull" logo...it's very identifiable and becomes dated very, very quickly.
the same applies for quite a few other brands...look at bathing ape. pretty popular when introduced, now just a couple years it's looked upon as cancer. look at all these kids walking around in 80's gear and oakley frogskins...sure, they "bought what they liked", but they look like real assholes.
as much as some of you want to fight the "man", dare to be different, and not conform to society...at a certain age and lifestyle it's just the way things go.
