Birkenstock has officially reintroduced the Uerzell sneaker mule in three new seasonal colorways. The release arrives through the footwear brand’s Paris-based special projects and collaborative unit, Birkenstock 1774.
As the inaugural design under the Ensemble 1774 initiative debuted in 2025, the model was conceived in partnership with French designer Thibo Denis, currently the design director of men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories at Louis Vuitton. Fusing the easy-wear function of a clog with the styling of a lace-up sneaker, the design centers around sculpted proportions, an elevated sole, and a visible natural cork midsole.
Presented in “Cuoio,” “Caccia,” and “Wine,” each shoe comes fitted with the signature Birkenstock Blue Footbed—a removable, anatomically shaped insole built around the heritage label’s orthopedic foundations. The hybrid construction is anchored by Birkenstock’s classic bone-pattern outsole and finished with the 1774 studio emblem embossed in blue.
