Japan's First Official 'Star Wars' Store Opens at Ikebukuro PARCO

Japan’s first official store where you can enjoy the world of ‘Star Wars,’ STAR WARS STORE by BENELIC, opened on Thursday, October 1, on the 6th floor of the Ikebukuro PARCO main building. A permanent store ahead of the 50th anniversary of ‘Star Wars’ in 2027, it offers a wide variety of original goods, including limited-edition items.

Inside the store, a die-cut monitor shaped like the ‘STAR WARS’ logo is installed, and beyond the gate of light at the entrance, four areas inspired by the Imperial Army, Nevarro, Tatooine, and the Millennium Falcon from the films spread out.

One to look out for is the eLab series, which allows you to freely customize bags and pouches. Based on the concept of ‘choose, add, combine,’ you can create your own unique items by combining patches and straps with base bags and pouches. The lineup includes tote bags, shoulder bags, pouches, and sacoches, as well as shoulder parts featuring lightsaber and ‘STAR WARS’ logo motifs, and patches inspired by the characters. In particular, the Millennium Falcon patch is exclusive to the store and will not be sold online, so be sure to check it out.

Also available is the ‘STAR WARS Logo’ series, featuring T-shirts and eco-bags adorned with the yellow logo reminiscent of the opening crawl at the beginning of the films, as well as acrylic keychains available in four colors. The T-shirts feature some glow-in-the-dark specifications.

The COLORS series, which expresses the individuality of each character through color and material, features Darth Vader, C-3PO, R2-D2, Ewoks, and Grogu. Tote bags and pouches use different materials such as enamel, gold, denim, boa, and corduroy, and the back features an embroidery of the character and their initial.

Other highly desirable items for fans include a Jawa perpetual calendar, mask keychains, a Sith robe blanket, and bags inspired by Tatooine.
