IKEA and Xbox have officially presented the nine-piece YXSTABY collection, introducing a functional line of home gaming furniture tailored for compact spaces. The collaborative range unveiled at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, combines Swedish home solutions with gaming-focused design details.
Designed to accommodate modern shared living setups and smaller rooms, the collection includes a gaming lounge chair equipped with console side pockets, IKEA’s first mobile rolling TV stand, a toolbox, a side table, and multiple storage units for hardware and cables. Central to the lineup is the YXSTABY gaming thumbstick stool, which was developed directly using Xbox’s original 3D controller design files to dynamically tilt with each movement of the user.
The aesthetic incorporates signature Xbox green accents alongside subtle design details, hidden symbols, and Easter eggs—such as a naming convention referencing controller button layouts (X, Y, A, B). Built with a focus on cable management and integrated storage, the capsule aims to seamlessly blend functional gaming equipment into everyday living environments.
The IKEA x Xbox YXSTABY collection will officially launch on October 1, 2026, available in-store and online via IKEA while stocks last.
