Hermès Drops US Exclusive H08 To Mark Madison Avenue Boutique Opening
With accents in taxi cab yellow.
To mark the opening of its new Madison Avenue boutique, Hermès has created a striking new limited edition H08 US exclusive.
The H08 Madison is given over to a deep grey and bright yellow colorway – a tribute to New York’s iconic cabs.
Instead of a 12 o’clock hour marker, Hermès has used a zero and, while nine of the twelve markers are white, the brand has picked out the numerals 7, 0 and 6 in yellow, alluding to the boutique’s address at 706 Madison Avenue.
The 39mm titanium watch and its black ceramic bezel are both brushed for a satin finish, while the dial features a heavily grained texture.
Hermès repeats the taxi cab yellow on the glass seal, minutes track, lacquered seconds hand and the watch’s fabric-textured rubber strap.
The 185-piece limited edition is available as a US boutique exclusive priced $7,450 USD.
