Issey Miyake Eyes Launches "Geometry" Sunglasses Series

Inspired by the composition of two basic geometric shapes — the circle and the rectangle.

Issey Miyake Eyes, a faction of designer Issey Miyake‘s eponymous high fashion label, has revealed a new finely-tuned “Geometry” sunglasses series.  The frames take inspiration from the composition of two basic geometric shapes, the circle and the rectangle, producing two minimalist silhouettes which seamlessly blend into the face of the wearer.

The outward-facing edges are precisely and evenly trimmed to produce a flat and sharp appearance while the back-end of the frame incorporates form-fitting curves which wrap around the face. Two new styles are introduced, both of which feature a widened nose bridge, exposed hinges, Issey Miyake branding engraved on the inner temples, and circular lenses. A variety of different colorways and lens tints are offered featured in matte, gloss, and translucent finishes.

Look for Issey Miyake Eyes’ “Geometry” series to release on Issey Miyake’s website and select dealers on July 15 for ¥46,200 JPY ($337 USD).
