Following the launch of his The All Mighty hardcover book, New York-based artist, sculptor, and filmmaker, Kostas Seremetis, continues his exploration of archetypes in comic book art and animation cartoons at HVW8 Berlin.

Seremitis’ Signal exhibition, presented by Carhartt, displays a collection of graffiti art canvases featuring the pop culture figures Pink Panther, Bart Simpson, Garfield, Odie, Mickey Mouse, Felix the Cat, and more.

“These superheroes and cartoons are like modern-day mythology that everyone can relate to. Just like the ancient Greek gods and goddesses that are still prominent in present-day society,” Seremetis discussed in an exclusive interview with HYPEBEAST. “I’m constantly jamming and mixing these characters while having a dialogue with them. I’m obeying this feeling that I have when painting.”

For his new show, Seremetis shares a short blurb explaining the nature of the overlapping spraypaint characters who arrive from their respective worlds and meet on his canvas.

“An aerosol Adventure of gratifications.
Mixing Pigments is Sorcery.
Painting is a Love Buzz.
Cartoons, and Comic book Characters are all strangers by nature.
Bart is Mischief.
Pink Panther is Philosophy.
Snoopy is a Healer.
One Signal to Modulate another Signal.“

Seremetis’ exhibition at HVW8 Berlin is now open to the public and will run until April 16.
