adidas Unveils a New “Wheat” Superstar
A timeless addition to a timeless silhouette.
Regardless of whether it’s fall or summer, you can never really go wrong with a wheat-inspired sneaker. Following a few eccentric releases, including a smiley-themed and LEGO-inspired adidas Superstar, the three stripes brings a timeless wheat addition to its iconic silhouette.
Smooth and understated, the shoe is constructed with tonal wheat/flax colors in a mixture of suede and leather materials to complement the Superstar’s signature toe box. Additional features include chunky rope laces, and black adidas branding throughout.
Having debuted back in 1969, the adidas Superstar is perhaps the most iconic silhouette in the German label’s history and has gone on to feature in an array of colorways and collaborations. The wheat colorway is a tasteful iteration that will surely never go out of rotation. The sneaker will be available to purchase for $100 USD on March 1 at adidas and at select retailers.
