DECODE Taps Bryce Wong to Focus on "Building Positive Space"

A collection with the rising creative

Brooklyn-based Zero Waste imprint DECODE has teamed up with creative Bryce Wong to innovate with a collection that furthers traceable blockchain fashion. Dubbed “Building Positive Space,” the special range taps into Wong’s knowledge of Web3 design.

The collaboration is based on taking transparent manufacturing of “Zero Waste Apparel” and blockchain technology to new heights. The blockchain-enabled garments that have been created debut the world’s first-ever Zero Waste-certified product, paired with next-level proof of location. All items are manufactured at DECODE’s manufacturing hub in Brooklyn, New York.

The “Building Positive Space” collection features a hoodie, long sleeve T-shirt, and sweatpant marked with blurred gradient graphics depicting flowers and smiley faces in a union of nature and happiness. DECODE worked with FOAM on a proof of location protocol tied to physical NFT chips from chip designer KONG through IYK’s software experience. The decentralized and app-less certification serves to take the concept behind DECODE to another level.

“Nothing about Web3 is set in stone yet. It’s all about experimenting and innovating. My job is to work with others to find new and innovative ways to push Web3 design and interaction. Since most Web3 fashion projects focus on a digital format, the digital/physical blend that DECODE was proposing felt super fresh. Plus, I know they like to have fun!” said Bryce Wong.

The Bryce Wong x DECODE “Building Positive Space” collection will be available December 9, 12 p.m. EDT until December 18 via DECODE SUPPLY.
