The DC Universe might just be making some major changes after the release of the forthcoming The Flash film.

As the debut date for the film approaches, the rumor mill for the film has been at an all-time high. Recently, Ezra Miller had to debunk rumors that The Flash will erase Zack Snyder’s DCEU films. Reporter Grace Randolph has provided an additional update to the rumors surrounding the film which has fans wondering about the possibility that it might be Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill‘s final hero appearance.

In a Tweet she said, “#TheFlash Batfleck’s final appearance. Old footage of Cavill used on TV.” Randolph also noted other shifts in the new Justice League highlighting that “Supergirl is the new Superman” the return of Michael Keaton as Batman who is working with Black Canary and later “picks Batgirl as [the] new Batman.” While the theory has not yet been confirmed, she does round out her thoughts with, “This is new DC, let’s be open-minded & give it a fair shot.” It appears that only time will tell before the questions and rumors will be answered.

The Flash releases in theaters on November 4, 2022.

In case you missed it, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness reshoots have reportedly included “more cameos.”
