Frank Ocean Soundtracks Chance The Rapper's Dates & President Obama Listens to 'Coloring Book'
Chance is on top of the world.
Chance The Rapper dishes out anecdotes, the truth about his personal struggles, opens up about his music and more in his latest interview. Speaking to GQ for an extensive feature, the Chicago star opens up about pretty much everything that’s been going on in his life in recent times. Most notably, Chance reveals that the U.S. presidential family have probably played his music at the White House. “They’re bumping Coloring Book hard up there,” Chance says. “If you go up there, you’ll probably hear Coloring Book. This is not a joke at all… Malia listens to Coloring Book. And I send them stuff sometimes. I haven’t seen Malia since I was a kid. I think they were both in school the day that I went up there recently, but Barack was talking about it. Or, uh, President Obama was talking about it.” For another pretty incredible anecdote, Chance recalls one particularly memorable date that Frank Ocean provided the soundtrack for:
“Frank just comes up and starts playing the piano and lightly singing in the background of our date…Obviously, that scored me a lot of points with this female.”
