John Legend and Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent, sat down together to perform a beautiful cover of Minnie Riperton‘s famous single “Loving You.” Zach Galifianakis, however, was not feeling the way they sang the “la la la la la” part, suggesting that John and Annie should alternate between each “la.” Continuing to give good-for-nothing tips, Zach tells the duo to sing it an octave lower, to speed up the tempo and to sing “truth-setto” — more “truth,” less “setto.”
The clip is a promotional video for a series of vinyl records, 7-Inches for Planned Parenthood, benefiting Planned Parenthood. The boxed set includes material from Bon Iver, Mary J. Blige, Foo Fighters, Common, Chvrches and more. Watch the entertaining clip above.
