'Football Manager' Is Coming to Nintendo Switch
The addictive simulator will soon be on another console.
Football Manager, the world’s most popular soccer management video game, will soon be coming to Nintendo’s Switch console. Engagdet has confirmed the news by speaking to a representative at Sega, which is the parent company to the developer of the game, Sports Interactive.
News of the game’s existence broke in March, when it was rated for the Switch in South Korea. Soon after series director Miles Jacobson hinted at the game’s existence in a cryptic tweet that referenced Eric Cantona’s post-appeal speech after kicking a fan. The Korean rating of the game is for Football Manager Touch, a slightly condensed version of the game, so it’s currently assumed that this is the version of the game that will reach the console. As of right now, there’s no firm details on the game and its release date.
In other news, Nintendo Switch’s “Nindies” showcased several indie titles for the platform.
When the seagulls follow leaky Korean trawlers, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. We’re not ready to talk about this, but we will be soon. Keep an eye on @footballmanager for Switch flavoured sardines.
