Google Introduces Chrome Music Lab Song Maker
Super simple music production.
Google continues its innovative streak by debuting the latest tool from Google Creative Lab. Dubbed “Chrome Music Lab Song Maker,” the app is a simple, browser-based program that allows users to make music without signing up or downloading assets.
Since 2016, the Creative Lab has introduced clever digital experiments that allow users to affect art and creativity in different ways, from textile sculptures to sound frequency adjustors. The Chrome Music Lab Song Maker follows the imprint’s past releases by focusing on simplicity and ease of use. By clicking or tapping on a series of blank panels, users can easily create quick music loops. The system offers a small range of samples and keeps everything in the same key to ensure tuneful creations. Users can save their completed songs to a simple Google link, which can be sent to friends who are able to edit the tracks on the fly.
Get started by making your own music over on the Song Maker site. Recently, the search engine behemoth altered its Image Search feature by removing the “View Image” button.
