Watch R. Kelly Walk Out Of An Interview
He couldn’t handle the negativity.

To promote his 13th album The Buffet, which hit stores earlier this month, R. Kelly was invited for a video interview with Huffington Post Live. All was well until HuffPost‘s interviewer, Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani, read a tweet from a fan that said, “Would I let R. Kelly babysit my daughters? F*ck no. Would I play his music at a family party? Ya got d*mn right.” In reponse, the R&B singer replied:
“We can curse? I say f*ck that. I have a lot of fans around the world that love R. Kelly and I’m glad they don’t feel the way that she does. God bless her though. You can’t satisfy everybody and you can’t have everybody hold you down. When I go to my concerts—my concerts sell out, I’m going to do another Buffet tour. We’re gonna sell out and have a lot of fun. I’m just glad to know everybody doesn’t feel the say that she does.”
The conversation quickly evolved into a debate after that, with Modarressy-Tehrani reiterating the question in different ways. Kelly responds by avoiding the “interrogation,” instead explaining that he came there for positivity. Watch his interview-leaving moment above.
