Tim Westwood Unearths Rare, Vintage Mos Def Freetyle

In recent weeks, British radio personality and veteran Tim Westwood has been liberating beyond-rare gems from hip-hop’s past. For this week’s Throwback Thursday find, Westwood shares a “rare off the dome freestyle” from Yasiin Bey/Mos Def. The recording of the freestyle session dates back to 1999, so this is definitely something that should go down in the history books. Check out Mos Def’s vintage freestyle above.
