Listen to Audio From the First Record Ever Made From Concrete
Made from industrial strength concrete.
People have gotten creative over the years, creating records with taco shells, ice and even wood. Well, German engineer Ricardo Kocadag just developed a record made entirely out of concrete and amazingly enough, it plays on any turntable. It’s made from a slab of ‘ultra high performance concrete,’ the same used on industrial buildings and bridges. At 6mm thick, the record still manages to sound pretty good although it would’ve been cool to hear “Concrete Jungle” by Troy Brown on it. Watch above.
