After 18 long months, Rick and Morty has returned in full force, making a triumphant return to Adult Swim. The immensely popular cartoon has been met with great applause from fans all over the world, and its third season sees the titular characters Rick and Morty going on some pretty strange adventures. However, the show has yet to flesh out the backstory of Rick Sanchez, the egotistical, alcoholic and exploitative grandfather to Morty Smith.
