As a part of AFI’s DOCS series, Adrien Clothier’s short film TRAIN SURFERS documents thrill-seeking young men tempt fate by doing stunts on Mumbai’s high-speed trains. The inspiration for the film came to the director when he was researching a trip to get out of his comfort zone. Clothier came across a viral video of a “train surfer” in Mumbai and became engrossed in the strange mix of absolute beauty and danger.
