Kanye West's 'Famous' Sculpture Is Now an Art ExhibitKim Kardashian unveiled the artwork through a private viewing in Los Angeles.
While we all thought the provocative visuals seen in Kanye West’s “Famous” video were put to bed, it looks like the controversial artwork has surfaced again. Kim Kardashian unveiled the life-sized tableaus through a private viewing at Blum & Poe gallery in Los Angeles on Friday night. Kanye was also present, albeit via a telepresence robot, propelling himself throughout the gallery via the commands on his MacBook to ensure everything — right down to the wrinkles on the sheet — was executed with perfection. Inspired by Vincent Desiderio’s Sleep painting, celebrities including Kanye, Kim, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Ray J, Amber Rose, Caitlyn Jenner, Bill Cosby, Donald Trump and Taylor Swift, the 12 photo-realistic lifelike silicone sculptures were hand-fabricated by over 30 fabricators in two Los Angeles-based studios over a period of two and a half months. Take a look at the images from the exhibit above and see a clips of the event through Kim K’s Snapchat.
