McQ by Alexander McQueen's 2017 Spring/Summer Collection Plays With Patterns
’70s-inspired prints and silhouettes abound.
The diffusion line of the famed British fashion house took an assemblage of genres and silhouettes to showcase its latest spring/summer collection during Paris Fashion Week. The usual gothic-inspired themes were infused with exaggerated floral and animal prints, along with ’70s-led earth-toned hues, denim patchworked pieces and airy shapes, in a variety of textures. The careful tailoring of the items ensured that loose-fitting cuts balanced nicely aginst fitted pieces like jackets and knits. Notwithstanding, the ready-to-wear line also incorporated a dose of graphic-heavy staples including tees and hoodies, juxtaposed with delicate lace and silks for a gender-bending assemblage of looks. Take a look at the full collection above.
