If you’ve been following the Call of Duty series, you’ve probably noticed that it’s been moving towards a dark sci-fi universe recently. This trend appears to be continued in a new teaser for the franchise’s next installment, which has been shared by Activision earlier this weekend. The 33-second clip shows a commander of the “Settlement Defense Front” sending out a fair warning to his enemies. Although it has yet to be confirmed, the visual supports earlier rumors that have suggested that the new game will be called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare since it’s in development at Infinity Ward, the creator of the popular Modern Warfare series. It is also speculated that Activision is working on a remaster of 2007’s an-favorite entry Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
