Pyramid Country Rips Across the Country in "Ripplescape" Tour Video
Arizona’s finest skaters stack a video’s worth of footage in one month for ‘Thrasher’.
Ah, the great American road trip. Many dream of traversing the country with a group of friends, beer in tow, rolling through small towns with their favorite song blaring from the stereo – yet few actually realize the fantasy. Skateboarding is very much about actualization, and although their perspective is a particular brand of warped, the Pyramid Country crew was able to fulfill said dream. “Ripplescape” is a survey of skate spots in cities between Arizona and New York, filmed over the course of a one-month road trip. While the sheer volume of footage is impressive in itself, the video also introduces some of Arizona’s lesser-known names on the big stage, namely opener Aaron Goure and man-beast Tyler Franz. Take a few minutes to enjoy the video above, and head over to Thrasher’s website to view an accompanying digital ’zine from the trip. Cheers, boys!
