There’s such a thing as work-life balance, but when your office is as nice as the DIZAAP headquarters, it might be hard to strike that. A new home base for the Kiev-based furniture company has just been completed by compatriot firm Sergey Makhno Architectural Workshop, who have revamped a space within an unprecedented turnaround of just three months. Preserving the natural disintegration of the walls, Makhno and his team sought to maximize natural light within the space and neutralize the flow of echoes. Accordingly, the designers planted noise-absorbing panels within the walls, elsewhere working with local Ukrainian craftsmen to build a familiar, yet progressive vibe through furniture.
