'Destiny: The Taken King' "We Are Guardians" Trailer
Bungie will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the original FPS with ‘The Taken King.’
This September Bungie will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the release of Destiny with a brand new add-on for the game. Dubbed The Taken King, the expansion sees the Guardians coming up against Oryx, who “wields the ability to control a twisted army of vile corruptions known as the Taken. These new enemies have been wholly consumed, possessed by the Darkness, bodies and mind twisted into service of their King” and are now hellbent on a singular purpose — the eradication of planet Earth. In addition to the brand new storyline for the best-selling game, The Taken King includes an arsenal of new gear, new powers and more. The Taken King is due out September 15 and can be pre-ordered online now while a likely breakdown of all the new additions can be seen over on Forbes‘ website.
