'Deadpool' Official Red Band Trailer Starring Ryan Reynolds
Marvel introduces its beloved antihero to the silver screen.
In the wake of a short yet cryptic teaser, comes the first theatrical trailer for Deadpool. Starring Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, Marvel Comics‘ upcoming superhero film tells the story of Deadpool (née Wade Winston Wilson), a character who first appeared in the comic book pages as a supervillain in February 1991 and has since evolved into a beloved antihero mercenary with superhuman healing abilities. The movie follows the titular character, whom after being experimented by a man on a quest to find a cure for cancer leaves him on a bloody path of destruction to find his maker. Directed by Tim Miller, the film also stars Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano and more. Catch the full three-minute red band trailer above.
