GZA‘s collaborative work has been on point in recent months. This year, he’s dabbled in rock music by linking up with musicians such as Tom Morello and Hanni El Khatib, showing that he remains versatile and forward-thinking after decades as a lyricist. Now, he’s linking up with Sweet Valley for a new number entitled “Planetary Energy.” Over a left-field, psychedelic piece of electronics, GZA spits science and serves up all sorts of otherworldly and higher-level rhymes. “Planetary Energy” comes to us courtesy of Converse, who united GZA and Sweet Valley for the lead single off the new installment in their EP series.
